The initial session will typically include discussing the issues that bring you to counseling and your related feelings and thoughts. It is a time for establishing our connection and for you to share your personal story. You will be invited to set goals for the duration of your counseling. You are always encouraged to share your feedback about each counseling session.
Individual therapy sessions, you’ll find a dedicated space where your concerns are heard, understood, and addressed. We are committed to building a trusting and collaborative relationship with you. This allows you to delve into your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Through empathic guidance and evidence-based techniques well work together to uncover insights, develop coping strategies and pave the way for positive change. Counseling is here to empower you with the tools you need to enhance your emotional well-being and lead a more fulfilling life.
There may be instances where you request a letter or documentation confirming your participation in therapy. If it is within my (your therapist) scope, I can assist with timely notice.
